Job Overview We are currently hiring for an experienced onsite Desktop Support Technician to support our customer Televisa Univision at their location in Doral, FL A Desktop Support Technician provides technical assistance to customers regarding various hardware and software applications. Their main duties include troubleshooting and diagnosing different technical issues, assessing and understanding user needs and issues and recommends technical fixes to end users
Responsibilities for Desktop Support Technician
Works directly with end users to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software problems
General Hardware Troubleshooting and Break/Fix repairs of Laptops & Desktops
Identification, prioritization, resolution/fulfillment of customer incidents
Coordinates, diagnoses, and troubleshoots incoming customer inquiries
Provides case status updates
Implements standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines
Responds to and completes customer requests for services
Provides technical support to internal customers
Supports/troubleshoots network problems
Install and configure computer systems and applications within the company
Standby shift
Qualifications for Desktop Support Technician
3-5+ years of proven desk-side support experience working in a fast-paced enterprise environment
Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution. Achieves SLA attainment rate of 90% or above
Extensive experience working with Windows 7/10 and Mac OS
Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and end users
Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company
Experience supporting a conference room with familiarity in AV hardware/software
